Cómo saber si estás sexualmente en forma

Estar sexualmente fit, no es cualquier cosa, a pesar de no hablar mucho de eso, es una realidad que la mayoría de los hombres -o la mayoría de las ocasiones-, el hombre es la parte activa (con más “movimiento”) durante la relación sexual, por lo que hay que estar en forma.

Culturalmente, de acuerdo con el libro “Passionista” del dr. Ian Kerner, los hombres miden su desempeño sexual con la duración y calidad de su erección, pero hay otras cuestiones a tomar en cuenta. Para saber si estás sexualmente fit, las preguntas que debes hacerte son:

1- ¿Haces ejercicio?
El ejercicio aeróbico regular, mantiene el flujo sanguíneo y a las arterias produciendo óxido nítrico. El óxido nítrico es literalmente el flujo de vida de la erección y es esencial para excitarte. No es raro que muchos hombres se sientan “cachondos” y con ganas de sexo post-ejercicio.

Luego de entrenar, se liberan endorfinas que contribuyen a la excitación sexual.
El ejercicio mejora la autoestima, te hace sentir mejor contigo mismo, lo que es un catalizador de tu energía y atractivo sexual.


2- ¿Comes sano?

Una mala alimentación contribuye a enfermedad cardíaca, colesterol alto, presión arterial alta, entre otras condiciones que inhiben el flujo sanguíneo al pene, y afectan el deseo y la calidad de la erección.

  • Come por tu corazón y comerás por el deseo sexual.
  • El régimen alimentario ideal para estos fines, es la Dieta Mediterránea ¡No por nada son de los hombres más sexuales y los clásicos latin lovers!


3- ¿Estás estresado?

No sólo el estrés merma el desempeño en la cama, también algunos medicamentos para tratar la depresión como ansiolíticos, y antidepresivos, que suelen bajar la libido. Y ¡ojo! Estamos a favor de la medicación cuando es necesaria y prescrita por un psiquiatra, pero hay que recurrir con más ganas al ejercicio y buena alimentación para poder “cooperar” como se debe.

Si te sientes angustiado o deprimido, te sientes menos sexual, menos atractivo y por supuesto sin ganas de “echarle ganas”.


4- ¿Estás durmiendo bien?

Dormir profundamente, descansar, es tan importante como comer bien y entrenar. Si descansaste, lo más probable es que despiertes con una erección “gloriosa” en la mañana.


5- ¿Estás tomando las vitaminas adecuadas?

  • L-arginina, un aminoácido, es esencial para producir óxido nítrico, que como comentamos antes, se necesita para que “se te levante”. 1 a 5g al día es una dosis correcta.
  • Pycnogenol es una mezcla de antioxidantes extraídos de la corteza de pino que ayuda como protector cardíaco, mejora la circulación, combate los radicales libres e incrementa el deseo sexual. Lo encuentras también en la piel de maní, semilla de uva y corteza del avellano de bruja. Puede tomar de 45 a 350mg al día.
  • Omega 3, mejora el flujo sanguíneo. Toma 1 a 2g.
  • Vitamina C y E, que son antioxidantes que protegen contra los radicales libres, y reducen los depósitos de grasa en la sangre. Toma de 500mg a 1g de vit C al día y 400UI de vitamina E.
